WHAT GETS MEASURED – GETS DONE

WDGA is committed to continuous improvement and proven results. As part of its program assessment tools, pre/post evaluations are conducted to ensure curriculum effectiveness and genuine social change.

Measurable Outcomes to Program Goals
1. 100% of disadvantaged youth candidates from rural communities will be sourced for the program;

2. 100% of the program participants will improve their exposure and understanding on how to resolve conflicts while overcoming barriers to “step out” and “step into” personal goals;

3. 80% of the program participants will be certified for employment;

4. A minimum of 50% of program participants will successfully complete their internships and be re-instated for next rotational cycle and be inducted into the Youth Leadership Council;

5. 100% of the program participants will improve their communication skills.

WDGA conducts a pre/post survey test and obtains end-of-training feedback. Below is a sampling of pre/post class surveying of the STEP 2 job readiness training questions and a student grid showing significant improvements. NOTE: Questions are answered as 1 (strongly disagree); 2 (DISAGREE); 3 (NOT SURE); 4 (AGREE); 5 (STRONGLY AGREE).
